2024-2025 James River Eagles Girls SoccerThe James River Eagles are offering Middle School and Varsity Interscholastic girls soccer for homeschooled girls ages 11 through 18. The Eagles compete against other schools and organizations in our area, in the VHSAA State Tournament, a Charity Cup event in Georgia in April. and in the NACA tournament in Tennessee in early May. Middle school players may also combine with some of our boys team to form a Co-Ed roster for additional middle school games. Players do not need prior soccer experience but it is helpful. Practices are structured to help players develop skills, knowledge, speed and agility, and team play. Players who are younger than 14 will be evaluated by the coach at the first few practices to determine if they can also play on the Varsity team. Additional cost for out of area tournaments may be required. The girls soccer season runs from early March through most of May. Official practices begin around the end of February depending on weather. Practices and game times are generally from 3:30 to 5:00 on weekdays with practices typically occurring on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons in Chesterfield. 2024-2025 Registration Fees

2024-2025 James River Eagles Boys SoccerBoys Varsity and Middle School soccer will be offered again this fall. We have a full and challenging schedule in place for the upcoming season. Included in this season's plans will be competing in the Virginia Home School Athletic Association (VHSAA) State Tournament here in the Richmond area as well as a trip to Dayton, TN to compete in the National Association of Christian Athletics (NACA) tournament. Our Middle School team will continue to compete locally against homeschool organizations, other private schools, and potentially in the VHSAA State Tournament. Additionally, this past spring our boys soccer teams had some optional spring tournament opportunities in April and May. Additional fees may be required for tournaments and travel costs. Official practices begin in early August. Practices and games are typically on weekdays. Summer practices will be in the evening and then practice times change to 3:30-5pm toward late August. Players do not need prior soccer experience, but it is helpful. There are no "tryouts". We strive to help further each player's development as a player and an athlete representing Christ each season. Players who are 14 and under will be evaluated by the coach at the first few practices to determine if they can also play on the Varsity team. 2024-2025 Registration Fees
